How to Leverage the Internet for Multiple Income Streams, p2

By now you may realize that internet marketing is just another way to market your service. It is not the be-all and end-all of marketing programs; it is simply another tool that allows you to become a more successful business person, taking the profitable road to success and destiny.

Personal Services. You should set your website up to help promote and leverage the expertise you use every day in your business. One on one coaching and corporate consulting are two aspects to consider. You can develop and present seminars and workshops. Also, you can explore the opportunity of developing a curriculum you distribute as electronic files. Or you may develop a profitable speaking career launched from the success of your service.

Workbooks or Special Reports. Another form of e-book, that expands on your service topic allowing clients to relate your ideas to their specific tasks. They usually contain guided tutorials, checklists, worksheets and progress-trackers that would have slowed the pace down in your original e-book.

The quicker you include these additional income opportunities in your thinking, the easier it will be to develop your marketing plan in a way that promotes these opportunities.

How to Leverage the Internet for Multiple Income Streams, p1

Start by identifying your profit centers and passive income sources you plan to develop from your service online. These will center on publications and services that you offer through your website. Your expanded income opportunities may include:

Audio Cassettes. If you speak in your field, you could record your speeches. Don’t expect to get wealthy from them. But audio cassettes will permit you to gain extra mileage from your speeches.

E-Books. Take chunks of information from your files. Most professionals gather information about their expertise over the years with thinking about it. Whether you are researching to inform yourself and clients. Or you are in work field learning and gaining skills in your service area. Consider compiling this knowledge into an ebook. (Need help compiling your ebook? I recommend my favorite resource: eBook It! Kit http://www.clickeasymarketing.com/ebookit.html

Ebooks can be short 10-70 page books that you write and format using your word-processor software or a desktop publishing program. After formatting, you use the Acrobat program to convert them into a PDF format (Portable Document Format), which allows you to sell and distribute them as downloadable files from your website or as email attachments. E-books can offer detailed treatment of specific topics in your area of expertise.

The quicker you include these additional income opportunities in your thinking, the easier it will be to develop your marketing plan in a way that promotes these opportunities.

Enjoy the journey. Life made easier.

Market Your eBook Through a Simple Newsletter

Market Your eBook Through a Simple Newsletter

Have you been looking for a way to connect with a fresh group of potential clients and customers for your service? If you can entice your website visitors to subscribe to your newsletter, they instantly become potential customers.

With your newsletter you can stay in regular contact, build relationship, establish creditability, become a trusted expert and open opportunities for them to buy from you over and over again. So where do you begin with developing your own newsletter? Follow these simple seven steps to increase sales opportunities with your own newsletter and subscriber lists:

Develop a Plan.
Devising a plan will save you time in the long run. A plan will give you organization and focus to amplify your voice. As with anything, you write much more powerful and effective copy if you have focus. Decide on a topic or theme and how often you want to publish your newsletter.

Choose a topic that your subscribers will enjoy.
For example, a poetry site's subscribers may enjoy tips on creative writing. A hosting company's newsletter visitors might be looking for tips to improve their website.

Choose a List Management Service.
Too many newsletter owners try to manage the subscribe and unsubscribe requests manually starting out. But they usually realize that one can go mad trying to keep up with it all. Automation is the key to effective newsletter marketing. Start with a professional service. I started my first list with a non-professional free account.

But I began noticing how many of my subscriber's email bounced because their provider would not accept emails from this service. It was up to half on some days and weeks. I decided to try the professional service. My bounces went down nearly 70%.

If you are like most small business owners you are budget conscious. No fear, most of the professional list management services offer a free option to start with. I recommend
Getresponse.com or SendFree.com.

Add Subscription Box on Your Web Site.
Put a sign-up form on every page. Make it available and easy for your visitors to sign up. Don't forget to test it to make sure it works. You probably won't get a second chance with most visitors if it doesn't work. Don't require your visitors to fill out a long form either. Keep it simple and you will get considerably more subscribers. Look into the floating sign-up box or the one-click pop-up to increase your subscriber rate even more.

Enjoy the journey. Life made easier.

Create a Compelling Sales Letter for Your Ebook, p2

Create a Compelling Sales Letter for Your eBook, p2

Most prospects will never pull out their wallets because they like your web design they do so only when your words convince them to. Here are some tips to create compelling sales letters that sell your service:

==>> Create a sales template file.
Start a file with all the good sales letters you encounter along the way. You can learn a lot by studying other successful letters. Don’t plagiarize (copy word for word.) Use the good letters you collect as your templates.

==>> Gather testimonials.
Strategically sprinkle them in your copy. They help build creditability and are important to achieve maximum sales. If you having problems getting some, consider offering your product free to 3-5 people to get some good written testimonials.

==>> Make your copy error-free.
If you have misspelled words or incomplete sentences, you will lose sales. Design your copy to be specific. Vague copy will also hinder your sales. It will prompt a lot of questions. If you are getting sales without questions, you know you have done a good job with your sales copy.

Create a Compelling Sales Letter for Your eBook

First things first; words sell not graphics or flashy websites. Pretty pictures and web design have never sold anyone anything; only words can do that. You must write to convince people to take action.

==>> Make your copy effective. If you have written your sales letter in one sitting; it' s not as effective as it could be. Write it one day and then revise the next day. Read it out loud. To measure how effective it is, look at how people read it versus how many actually buy. Install a hit counter to measure your success.

==>> Write short sentences and paragraphs. Short sentences and paragraphs will help the readability of your copy. Especially, if your letter is long, you will have better success with keeping the attention of your prospect.

==>>Focus on benefits and not features. Always focus more on your benefits and the features. Explain your benefits. Benefits are what move people to act. For example, "This air conditioner (your product/service) will save you time, effort, energy and money because of the built in features."
